At Dogology, we’ve learned that every dog has something to discover thru Nosework.

My own discovery started with Chloe, my fearful dog who found confidence through Scent Work. Along the way, I discovered that Scooter, my thoughtful and methodical dog, had a natural talent and passion for searching. Later, Nosework became the perfect retirement sport for Gideon, my athletic dock diver, giving him a new way to challenge both his mind and body.

As a trainer that focuses on reactivity, aggression, and fear, I also discovered that Nosework integrates beautifully into behavior work. The confidence, independence, optimism, and problem solving skills Dogs develop through searching often carry over into everyday life. What began as an activity for my own dogs became an important part of my training programs and ultimately inspired me to become a Certified Nosework Instructor (CNWI)
